Columbus Day 2016 is on October 10. As true for any holiday, retailers are associating sales with these special days in our calendar. Amazon is actually not that into promoting holiday sales, but recently the online retail giant started to offer Amazon Device deals on Labor Day and now also for Columbus Day 2016. The Amazon Columbus Day 2016 sale is already available now.
The Amazon Tap is $30 off again like on last month, bringing the price down just under $100. The Tap allows you to order pizza, have the news read to you, or taking the hassle out of navigating to your favorite music application. By tapping and asking all these chores can be completed by tapping and asking the Amazon Tap portable Bluetooth speaker to perform these arduous duties. The Amazon Tap sells now for $99.99 on Amazon.com.
The Amazon Tap deal is available through October 10.
The big difference to the more expensive Amazon Echo ($179) is that the Tap requires you to push a button to ask Alexa a question. The Echo is always on, waiting for you to say “Alexa,…”.
Amazon also offers Columbus Day deals on all Kindle models. You get $30 off Kindle E-Reader, Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle for Kids Bundle. The now Kindle Voyage E-Reader is off $50. All Kindle deals are available through Columbus Day at 4 pm PT and are exclusive to Prime members.
The Amazon Kindle deals have Black Friday quality. Amazon could though be cleaning out inventories ahead of the release of new Kindle device this Fall. So far Amazon has updated Echo Dot, Fire TV stick with Alexa and Fire HD 8.
The Amazon Black Friday 2016 Deals Week draws closer fast. The Amazon Black Friday Deals Week 2016 will start on Friday November 18. The first early Amazon Black Friday 2016 sales event are just one month away. We expect the first Amazon Black Friday 2016 deals on Friday, November 4. Last year the Countdown to Amazon Black Friday Deals Week kicked of officially on Monday, November 2. This year there are though less days until Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. This is why we assume the countdown sale will begin already Friday, November 4.
