iPhone 6 Black Friday 2014 Deals Predicted

Black Friday 2014 is 77 days away according to our Black Friday Countdown clock. As Apple just revealed the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we decided to kick off our series of Black Friday 2014 deals predictions early with these high-profile products.

Apple will start selling the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on September 19. Tomorrow you can put your pre-order in on the Apple.com site. The iPhone 6 starts at $199 with contract. And the new big 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299. Right now carriers are trying to reel you in with trade-in deals to buy the iPhone 6 at their store. Verizon is offering the iPhone 6 for free if you bring your old iPhone. T-Mobile says to beat all Trade-in offers from the major carriers.

These early promotions point to an aggressive price battle during Black Friday 2014 sales events. Apple needs record breaking sales on the iPhone 6 to keep investors happy. They will remove all stops for their partners to sell as many iPhone 6 as possible.

Looking back to Black Friday last year, the best iPhone 5S deal was $99 offered from Sprint and AT&T two weeks before the actual Black Friday. Walmart offered on the actual Black Friday the iPhone 5S for $189 w/ free $75 gift card.

Given the aggressive competition and need for Apple to sell as many iPhone 6 units as possible in 2014 I expect that the iPhone 6 will be free in Black Friday 2014 sales somewhen during November. The iPhone 6 Plus will though likely see no deals. Reason for this is rumored short supply. If the supply is no issue than I expect savings of $100, bringing the price down for the base model to $199 in contract.
