We have seen the best deals spread ahead of Black Friday last year. Now a white paper published by RetailMeNot confirms this. They even saw on their customer data that the best deals have been scored last year on Thanksgiving Day.
Last year many "official" Black Friday sales already started on Thanksgiving Day. If you actually started to shop on Black Friday for the advertised deals, then it was too late as they have sold out.
Obviously sales do not end once Black Friday 2012 is over. Next up is Cyber Monday and then you still can score a great deal in Holiday sales. RetailMeNot also includes October in the holiday shopping season and coins the term OctoNovemCember. I have though not seen breakout deals in October yet. The only bet you can make is on potential hard to find toys like the new Furby.
Black Friday Countdown is providing you with early trends for Black Friday 2012 deals during the year. One huge topic will be Windows 8 this Black Friday. Another hot item will be 7-inch tablets. Apple, Google and Amazon will battle with special deals for market share. Other tablet manufactures will try to find their luck with Black Friday Windows 8 Tablet deals.
